PLATFORM
Immigration enforcement:
Cooperate with federal agencies and create state criminal violations for being a foreign national illegally present in West Virginia. This will relieve pressure on schools, emergency rooms, and housing, and reduce competition for jobs by foreign nationals willing to work for excessively low wages.
End educational policies based on Cultural Marxism:
Cultural Marxism took the old Marxist economic model of haves and have-nots and reframed the oppressor-oppressed relationship along racial, ethnic, and sexual lines. This created a matrix of oppression, with more victim status points awarded for checking more intersectional boxes of oppression: female; female and minority; female, minority, and gay; female, minority, gay, and disabled. You get the idea. This ideology creates a victim Olympics of who is most oppressed and who gets the most victim points.
Reduce government:
Government is the preferred employer because salaries are taxpayer-funded and therefore the most lucrative.
Also, government does not fire for incompetence like the private sector. Every new program needs a taxpayer-funded bureaucrat to administer it. The funds for this come directly out of your taxpayer pocket.
Just as the love of liberty burns in many human hearts, so also the lust for power burns in others. Government tends to attract this second group, who express their lust for power (and control) through their ever expanding regime of laws, regulations, and, let us not forget, TAXES! Liberty requires the roll back of the size of government, for as government expands, liberty inevitably recedes.
End taxpayer-funded lobbyists:
Berkeley County pays a lobbyist $200K a year to lobby for higher taxes on YOU! What a deal! Your taxes pay a princely salary to someone who lobbies to raise your taxes further.
Reduce and then eliminate property tax:
Taxes should be uniformly distributed and paid by all; we should not have taxes targeting people because they own something.
End the Rain Tax:
Most of the rain that falls in our district is not managed by the City of Martinsburg rainwater runoff management system.
In fact, God is the person managing all of our rainwater runoff that eventually makes its way into the Potomac River.
Why should District 91 residents be taxed for funding the management of the city of Martinsburg’s runoff management system which does not handle or have anything to do with our own district rainwater runoff?
This is an unfair taxation of District 91 citizens for the benefit of people living elsewhere, and must be repealed.
